Sidewalk/Street Curb Repair:

It is the responsibility of each resident to ensure proper reporting of any damaged/lifted sidewalks, particularly when such sidewalks are on one's property.  The City of Saint Cloud's Streets Division will repair any lifted/damaged public sidewalks or crumbled curbing along the streets as a result of normal wear and tear (such as the growth of trees near the sidewalks).  However, they must know about it.

To report a damaged/lifted sidewalk or curbing, contact the City's Street Division
via phone: 407-957-7270

Street Trees Maintenance:

Though the City of Saint Cloud does maintain the trees within the right-of-ways and easements in Stevens Plantation (the area between the sidewalk and the street), it is not uncommon for a tree to occasionally grow faster than the City's maintenance schedule.  Tree branches should be maintained at a height that does not obstruct the use of sidewalks or streets.  This means branches above sidewalks should be higher than 6 feet and above 10 feet in the streets.  It is the responsibility of each homeowner with trees in their easement to notify the City if a tree's branches encroach over the sidewalk or street.  Trees should not be trimmed in a topiary fashion by homeowners.  Such trimming can negatively impact the growth and health of the street trees, as well as result in the replacement at the homeowner's expense.

To notify the City's Tree Line Division, please call: 407-957-7245
