Electric Service Will Be Impacted

Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) is planning urgent electric utility work that may impact your electric service.  On Wednesday, May 22nd, OUC will be replacing transformer equipment near the entrance of the Verandah Lakes pod.  This work is to occur between 9:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M.  The replacement of this equipment is vital to sustaining reliable electric service to the Stevens Plantation residents in particular.  In order to replace this equipment, electric service must be temporarily disrupted.

OUC has provided notices to customers expected to be impacted by this work.  Such communications were delivered via automated phone calls and text messages to alert impacted customers.  If you received an automated phone call alert, you may have originally been provided inaccurate information stating the work was to be completed tomorrow, May 15th.  OUC was notified of this error and is expected to provided corrected alerts.
