Coming Next Weekend!  Saint Cloud City-Wide Garage Sale!
Published - November 6th, 2024

Get A Jump Start On 2025 Spring Cleaning!

Each Spring and Fall, the Saint Cloud City Council customarily grants a 'City-Wide Garage Sale Weekend' for all incorporate city residents. Historically, this occurs in April and November each year and allows residents to have their own garage sale without the need for a hard-copy permit. This Fall, the City has issues a city-wide permit for this weekend, between November 15th - November 17th from 7:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. The ROA will also be placing signage at the entrance to each pod to remind residents and passerby alike.

Under normal circumstances, a permit is required when a resident within the city limits of Saint Cloud wishes to host a personal garage/yard sale. For more information about garage sale permits, you may contact the City Building Department at 407-957-7224 or visit www.stcloud.org. If you wish to apply for a permit outside the City-Wide events, you may do so online here:

Here are some helpful tips for the City-Wide Garage Sale Weekend:

  • If you are traveling through the neighborhood during this time, use extra caution and move slowly around street bends. This is particularly important when passing standing vehicles as individuals may appear suddenly without warning.
  • Stevens Plantation residents should make an effort to keep personal vehicles off the streets, if possible. This is highly recommended if you or an immediate neighbor will be participating with a garage sale. Allow sufficient space for visitors to park without restricting the flow of traffic (especially for emergency vehicles).
  • Residents should not park vehicles on the lawns or grassy easements between the sidewalk and street. If parking vehicles in the driveway, ensure that the sidewalks are not blocked by any part of the vehicle.
  • If participating with your own sale, items must not be displayed on the sidewalk or the street. Sidewalks and streets must remain clear for pedestrian and vehicular traffic, respectively.
  • Any items displayed in the driveway must be removed no later than 5:00 P.M.
